Compare SF Permissions ("we", "us", "our") is a tool that helps Salesforce administrators compare profiles, permission sets, and user access. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Information We Collect

Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This information is stored securely and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Salesforce OAuth

To compare permissions, you authenticate via Salesforce's OAuth 2.0 flow with PKCE. We receive a temporary access token that is stored only in your browser session. We do not store your Salesforce credentials, passwords, or persistent tokens on our servers.

Salesforce Metadata

We query your Salesforce org's metadata (profiles, permission sets, field permissions, etc.) in real-time during your session. This data is not stored, cached, or transmitted to any third party.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the permission comparison functionality you requested
• To respond to your contact form submissions
• To improve the tool based on feedback

Data Storage & Security

Contact form submissions are stored in a secure database. Salesforce session data exists only in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab or log out. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

Third-Party Services

We use Salesforce's APIs to retrieve metadata from your org. We do not share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. Only essential cookies required for the application to function may be used.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any contact form data we hold by contacting us. Since Salesforce session data is not stored on our servers, there is nothing to delete.

This tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. You assume all risk associated with your use of the tool and any actions taken based on its output. The creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from your use of the tool.
